Equine-assisted learning thrives within the fabric of community programs and events, serving as a transformative platform for diverse groups. These initiatives bring people together, offering inclusive experiences that transcend age, background, or ability.
Community-driven equine-assisted learning ventures provide a space where individuals can engage in collaborative activities with horses, fostering a sense of belonging and unity. From youth groups to rehabilitation and senior centers, these events offer tailored sessions that emphasize teamwork, communication, and personal growth.
Participants often discover new strengths while navigating challenges alongside our therapy animals, promoting empathy and understanding within the community. These programs not only impart valuable life skills but also strengthen the bonds among participants, creating enduring connections that can enrich the fabric of the community as a whole.
Our miniature horse mascot “Toast” is fully therapy-trained and certified. He has gone through an intense certification process and is well-acclimated to wheelchairs, walkers, and other medical equipment.
Impact Horse desires to promote accessibility to this specialized animal assisted learning modality.
Impact Horse aims to promote the numerous benefits of equine-assisted and affiliated learning opportunities to the public.
