Equine-assisted learning thrives within the fabric of community programs and events, serving as a transformative platform for diverse groups. These initiatives bring people together, offering inclusive experiences that transcend age, background, or ability.

Our programs are facilitated by dedicated nonprofit equine professionals and qualified miniature therapy horse teams.

🐴 Meet Our Mini Therapy Team

Our miniature horse mascots, Toast and Muffin, are the heart of our mobile equine-assisted wellness and learning programs.

- Rigorous Training: Our minis undergo intensive training to ensure they’re comfortable, safe, and acclimated to healthcare environments, including working seamlessly around wheelchairs, walkers, and other medical equipment.
- Always Growing: While Toast is a seasoned veteran, Muffin is our sweet miniature therapy mare currently in training to expand our outreach capacity.

Our goal is to break down financial and physical barriers, bringing the profound wellness benefits of bonding with horses directly to assisted living facilities, youth programs, and community hubs across Southern Maine.

As a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, Impact Horse relies entirely on generous community contributions and public donations to sustain its outreach programs.
